"Yedidim"
(friends)
The "Yedidim" (friends) organization is a national organization that has been active since 1991 among children and youth at risk, youth who break the law and new immigrants, all over the country and in all sectors. The organization's programs assist these populations in providing an emotional, social, and educational response, in preparation for meaningful military service, in preparation for citizenship, and in guidance for education and employment.
All of the organization's programs integrate more than 1,700 students and volunteers in over 160 groups throughout the country and constitute a "significant other" figure and role model for the trainees.
