Yad Miriam was founded in 2013. The goal of the association is to create a connection and network of support between new French-speaking immigrants and the local ultra-Orthodox population. The association strives to help difficult families, children in need of school support, patients and the elderly in the ultra-Orthodox sector, thus helping them in their daily lives.The volunteers joins a family, sick or elderly, and make personal and friendly contact with them on a weekly basis, along with accompaniment and guidance throughout the volunteering period and are accompanied by the association's volunteer coordinator.

The suggested activity for students
Assisting children in homework preparation and language learning (as new immigrants)
Accompanying and mentoring children with special needs
Assisting patients in hospitals to make their time more enjoyable
Visiting the elderly in nursing homes or their homes in order to alleviate loneliness and help with personal needs
Preference will be given to ultra-Orthodox French-speaking students with listening ability, high motivation, interpersonal ability, seriousness and a desire to meet and meet new people .
Activity days: Sunday to Thursday | Hours of operation: Flexibility, 10:00-19:00
