WIZO
WIZO's Division for the Advancement of Women's Division deals with programs for the advancement of women nationwide, programs for the prevention of violence nationwide, and there is activity initiated by the Division in the field of advancing policy and legislation before government ministries and the Knesset. It can be integrated into violence prevention programs as well as staff work around conferences, research and policy promotion.

The suggested activity for students

Growing up together - a program that aims to build a home and a network of support for women victims of marital violence (and their children), who are in the process of building an independent and safe life, after a stay in a shelter and / or after separation from a violent partner. The program includes: Once a week, meetings of up to two hours with the mothers and children (in parallel groups) at the WIZO branch in the city -this program operates in Hadera, Haifa, Herzliya and Jerusalem.

Volunteering in battered women's shelters and their children In Jerusalem and Ashdod. Students will engage in activities with the children in the afternoon and vacations as needed
