tabeca
"Tabaka" ("Doing Justice" in Amharic) was established in 2000 with the aim of helping the successful integration of Ethiopians into Israeli society. Since the day it was established, Tabaka has been working to promote an egalitarian and tolerant policy and has been waging a stubborn struggle to eradicate the effects of discrimination and racism.
Along with promoting issues of principle, "Tabaka" provides accessible legal assistance in the fields of education, employment and public housing to immigrants from the Ethiopian community - these services are provided by the organization's legal department, which consists of Amharic-speaking Ethiopian lawyers, along with veteran Israeli lawyers.
