The Foundation for the Welfare of Holocaust Victims

The holocaust survivors’ welfare fund operates an array of social volunteers in the program “lonely but not alone”. The volunteers visit the holocaust survivors every week at their homes, and develop a social connection with them, in order make their time more pleasant as well as making them feel less lonely. The activity in the fund has true and meaningful contribution to both the volunteer and the survivor. The volunteers get guidance and are accompanied throughout the process of volunteering, by the fund’s coordinator of volunteering.
