Kol Israel Haverim
(kiah)  - Alliance

“Kol Israel Haverim” (In French: Alliance Israélite Universelle) was founded in 1860 in Paris and engraved on its banner values of solidarity, concern for the rights of Jews and providing quality education for all. The organization works to promote a value-based and egalitarian society for the children of Israel.

The suggested activity for students
  • Mikve Israel Youth Village (Holon): Mentoring and providing academic assistance for students who have difficulty in secondary schools and boarding schools. The village contains 3 schools (state, state-religious, Israeli French). Volunteers accompany students individually or in small groups of 2-3

  • Mentoring and academic assistance for students within the framework of the "Aleh" program, which is a program meant to provide support for social absorption of immigrant students in elementary and post-primary schools in Netanya. The program is holistic and allows immigrant students to increase their chances of success in integration, absorption, and academic achievement. Volunteers accompany students individually or in small groups of 2-3.

Students interested in volunteering must pass an admissions interview. As part of the volunteering, students will participate in a number of training sessions throughout the year.
